The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.Reporting to the Contract Director, you will be working closely with an international team in Europe conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. You will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. You will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvementsWhat will you do on a day-to-dayCollect, interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics techniques and models, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsFilter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsIdentify and define new process improvement opportunitiesWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data AnalystTechnical expertise regarding data models and database design development.Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and BI tools (Business Objects, Microstrategy, Power BI, etc.), databases (Oracle, DB2, etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks) Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)Strong technical knowledge of MS Excel.Technical knowledge of SaaS cloud environments (AWS or Azure).Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsPreferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or StatisticsLanguage skills: Proficiency English Also, will be great if you are: Strong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervisionProven ability to build positive relationships and foster teamwork within the department and across the organizationExcellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skillsAbility to interact with various levels both internally and externallyGood analytical skills and high customer orientationWhat do we offer you?Job stability and incorporation into an American multinational ranked number 10 in its sector.Career plan with development and training provided by the company.Collaboration with the European innovation team in the selection and implementation of new technologies.We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
