DATA ANALYST

Currently, SOLTI is comprised of over 500 renowned research professionals distributed over a broad network of more than 100 leading hospitals in Spain, Portugal, France and Ireland.SOLTI focuses its efforts on developing cutting-edge clinical trials with novel targeted therapeutics including innovative translational research, fostering the participation in international networks and promoting excellence in the management of cancer among their members.Get to know us at: www.gruposolti.orgWe are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Science unit.Main responsibilities: Conducting automated statistical analyses for clinical and preclinical studies. Designing and developing new tools and web applications for clinical research. Developing prognostic and predictive models for biomarker validation in oncology. Reviewing documents related to research projects, preparing statistical analysis plans (SAP), and statistical reports. Supporting the design of electronic case report form (eCRF) in REDCap.Using advanced biostatistical programming expertise to support sample size calculations, statistical power assessments, and the design and implementation of algorithms for health data analysis, including survival analysis.Staying informed on the latest developments in cancer research and statistical methodologies.Providing support for both internal and external communications related to scientific activities.Requirements and skills:Bachelor's or master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, or relevant experience/master's in a related field. Proven ability to plan, create, program, and manage complex statistical databases.Skilled in the use of database management software. Strong understanding of biostatistical methods, gained through education and practical experience.Experience in clinical research within (bio)medical or academic settings, particularly at clinical and/or preclinical research centers; knowledge of molecular biology will be a plus.Computer and analytical skills, proficiency in R programming, knowledge of SAS, Python, SQL. Other programming languages will also be considered as an asset.
