Couriers are the cornerstone of Glovo’s marketplace.
We are seeking a Data Analyst who can strike the perfect balance between creativity and data-driven precision, turning seemingly impossible projects into reality.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering insights and data to drive the core strategies of the Courier Supply Excellence team.
By leveraging analytics, you will globally identify methods to enhance courier engagement at the order, hourly, and monthly levels.
The KPIs you will influence are crucial to operations, as every decision made will directly affect the whole operational investment.
THE JOURNEY Bring your boldest ideas to life and make an immediate global impact.
Understand and address local and regional needs by stepping into the shoes of the couriers and truly understanding their perspective.
Continuously explore and refine key operational metrics (delivery time, efficiency, costs), gaining a comprehensive understanding of Glovo’s operations.
Offer analytical support to teams across more than 20 countries by deepening the understanding of Glovo's operational model.
Enhance the strategies we use to define each market’s approach.
Manage dashboards and create new tools to improve the department’s metric visibility.
Develop analytical frameworks and models, while effectively communicating with the entire department.
Dive deep into data to identify key factors and actions to improve KPIs, taking accountability for outcomes.
Innovate to contribute to the ongoing improvement of courier profitability.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or similar +2 years of work experience providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions, banking / financial background is a plus Strong analytical and coding skills.
SQL and Excel proficiency (or extensive coding experience), and BI platforms experience (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI,) Python and experience working with analysis tools such as Pandas, SciPy, Scikit, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, R is highly valued Strong strategic vision and business mindset Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Comfortable working in high-growth and high-performance start-ups with a fast-paced Professional English Individuals representing diverse profiles, and abilities, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
