Proficiency in major DBMS platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, mariaDB, Percona, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, documentDB etc.
Good command of SQL for writing and troubleshooting queries and scripts.
Knowledge of json and MongoDB shell commands.
Expertise in database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes (includes database vendor utilities and their use with Commvault and Metallic) Good database performance analysis, tuning and optimization techniques.
Knowledge of database security practices, including user authentication, authorization, and encryption.
Experience with database replication, clustering, disaster recovery and high-availability solutions (RAC, Galera, Oracle Standby, Percona XtraDB) Proficiency in scripting languages such as Unix shells, PowerShell, Python etc.
Experience with cloud-based platforms and databases like AWS RDS and documentDB, Azure SQL Database etc.
Deployment management, Infrastructure as a Service, Terraform, Version Control Systems (Git) Familiarity with management and monitoring tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle Enterprise Manager, PPM, mongoDB Compass & Ops Manager, mongoDB shell, SQL*Plus, mysql and postgres clients, SQL Developer, shell scripting, python, java etc.
Familiarity with Cloud Provider platforms (AWS, Azure) Proficiency in english as he/she will be working in an international environment.
REQUISITOS VALORABLES.
Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.
., GDPR, ISO).
Availability for on-call support and handling of scheduled work and issues arising outside of regular working hours.
TITULACION REQUERIDA.
Degree level qualification preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Beneficial to hold Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Certified MySQL Database Administrator or similar or other relevant training and IT related certifications AÑOS EXPERIENCIA EN PERFIL SOLICITADO.
