You will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity, quality, and security of our organization's data assets, also with a focus on AI/Gen AI aspects including compliance with the EU AI Act, DORA principles and VAIT Key responsibilities:Take ownership, build & maintain data governance framework including areas like data management, data quality, data maturity & fitness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish Data & AI governance best practices.Ensure regular & timely reporting of data assessment KPIs to data steering board & senior management.Be an ambassador for data and promote data-driven culture & data product mindset within the company.Conduct training & mentoring sessions on data governance requirements & standards for data engineers, data owners and data platform users.Conducting market research and staying up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.Communicating product vision, goals, and progress to stakeholders.Actively seeking customer and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve deliverables.What we expect from you:University degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science or Data Science.More than 5 years professional experience in data and process management, leading global/cross-functional teams, managing mid or large size data programs.5+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, data product management, data security or in other similar roles.Knowledge of the EU AI Act, DORA principles, and VAIT guidelines, and their implications for data governance in AI and Gen AI contexts is a plus.Rich experience in executive stakeholder management.Strong technical background and knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Familiar with Agile development methodologies.Soft skills:Strong communication skills and fluency with the English language.You are a real team player.You embrace change and have a problem solving mind-set.
