Then, join our team!We are looking for a Data Lead.As Data Lead for International Projects at Ogilvy Barcelona, you will be a key driver of data-driven decision-making across our global client portfolio. You will lead the definition of MarTech approaches, develop and implement data strategies, and ensure data insights inform marketing campaigns and client recommendations.This role requires a deep understanding of CRM, Marketing Automation, CDP, website/mobile app data collection and measurement, and a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive business results. You will collaborate closely with agency analytical teams to deliver performance reports and extract key learnings for continuous optimization.Our desired skills and experience are:Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of demonstrable experience in a data-focused role, with specific expertise in CRM, Marketing Automation, CDP implementation, and website/mobile app data collection and measurement.Proven proficiency with Segment and Braze, including experience designing and implementing data-driven marketing campaigns using these platforms.Strong understanding of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and its application in data collection and tracking.Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.Deep understanding of data management principles, segmentation techniques, personalization strategies, and data analysis methodologies.Experience working with large-scale datasets and managing data complexity within international projects.Excellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.Proven project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Languages:English: Proficiency level is required.Spanish: fluentWhat would you do in this role?As a Data Lead at Ogilvy, you will:Data Strategy & Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies for international projects, encompassing data collection, integration, analysis, and activation. This includes defining the MarTech stack and ensuring seamless data flow across different platforms.MarTech Leadership: Lead the definition and implementation of MarTech solutions for international projects, including CDP, CRM, Marketing Automation, and tag management systems like GTM. Provide guidance on best practices and ensure alignment with overall data strategy.Measurement Framework & Reporting: Establish robust measurement frameworks for campaigns and programs, working with analytics teams to deliver insightful reports to clients. Analyze performance data, identify key trends, and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on data strategy and implementation. Effectively communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner.Project Management: Manage data-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This includes coordinating resources, managing timelines, and mitigating risks.Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including analytics, creative, and account management, to ensure data is integrated throughout the campaign lifecycle.Innovation & Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on the latest data technologies and trends, and identify opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques to enhance data-driven marketing efforts.Additional Details:This role requires a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and the ability to translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies.Experience working with global brands and navigating cultural nuances is highly desirable.Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) is essential.And since you'll give this and much more, we also want to give you much more:A dynamic and creative work environment.High-profile clients and international brands.Full-time position.Hybrid format: 2 or 3 days in the office / 2 or 3 days remote work.Christmas, Easter, July, and August: FULL REMOTE.Flexible hours.Permanent contract with a six-month trial period.22 working days of vacation per year + 12 extra days!Optional access to flexible compensation (health insurance, transportation, meals, and childcare).Ogilvy Wellness Program: Free psychological, legal, and financial support service.
