DATA QUALITY & DATA CATALOG CONSULTANT

Our team members are located in different European countries.We are seeking a skilled Data Quality and/or Data Catalog Expert to join our team. The candidate should have a strong understanding of data management principles, expertise in data quality and/or experience working with data catalog tools, particularly Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and improve data governance processes.Key Responsibilities:Data Quality ManagementImplement and maintain data quality processes and standards across various projects using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). Conduct data quality assessments, identify issues, and develop remediation strategies.Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define and enforce data quality rules and metrics.Data Catalog ManagementManage and maintain the data catalog using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). Ensure metadata is accurately captured, categorized, and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders.Assist in the integration of data sources into the catalog and ensure consistency across the organization.OtherWork closely with clients to understand their data management needs.Provide expert advice and solutions to improve data governance and quality.Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients and internal teams on best practices.Participate in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Collaborate with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in data quality and/or catalog management.Proactively suggest improvements to processes, tools, and methodologies.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Data Quality and/or Data Catalog Expert, Consultancy experience will be considered as an advantage.In-depth knowledge of Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) is a must.Proficiency in English is a must.Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and data cataloging.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.Experience working in international environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work in an international environment within a within a group company.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Professional development opportunities and career growth.Flexibility in work location and schedule.Opportunity for self-initiative.
