DATA SCIENTIST

This is your opportunity!We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team!Data Scientist to support Advanced Analytics use cases in the area of aftersales products , with the end to end responsibility.Understands data from a business and analytics point of view, finds out patterns and relationship in data, identifies methods for analysis and develops and performs data analysis.Selects the appropriate tools, models, and methods for the data analysis.Description of role and responsibilities:Support the departments in the value creation and monetization of data-based solutionsIdentify necessary data and are responsible for data collection and exploration, including data harmonization and preparation for internal and external partnersIdentify and implement relevant use cases with customer addedIntegrate analysis results and forecasts into relevant sales channels and applicationsWork closely with the regional teams and support international rollouts of analytics solutionsWork with both external and internal teams to develop productsEducation degree & experienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sc., Data Analytics or Information Technology. Bachelor in Engineering, Mathematics or a Quantitative Field.Minimum 3 years’ experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Tools and Algorithms.Technical experienceProficiency in Spark/Pyspark.Extensive experience working with modeling libraries like Tensorflow, Sklearn, Statsmodels, Pytorch.Experience creating, deploying and maintaining ML models.Experience building data pipelines.Proficiency in Python, SQL & Basic Unix Commands.Experience with data visualization tools like Plotly, PowerBI, Tableau and others.Experience with Model Explainability tools.Profound experience in Databricks.Experience in CI/CDKubernetes experience is valued.Cloud TechnologiesExperience developing and deploying solutions in Azure (Azure ML, VM ,Functions ,Storage, DevOps, etc.)Experience in AWS (Lambdas, S3, EC2, Sagemaker) is highly valued.Methodologies, Techniques & OthersExperience in Agile and Scrum.High coding standards are also required.Kanban, Scrumban or SAFe Experience is valued.Business skills:Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.Good written and oral communication skills.Results-oriented, self-directed ability to drive change in an unstructured environment.Time management skills.International experience and multicultural skills are highly valuedEnglish Proficient in English, both written and spoken.Knowledge of the German language is a plus.Other PreferencesIn addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate should possess a set of vital soft skills for the role, including agility to swiftly adapt to evolving situations, a strong sense of empowerment, fostering trust and inspiration, a co-creative mindset that thrives on collaborative innovation, a relentless drive to excel and achieve success, unwavering customer orientation aimed at continually delighting our clients, a deep-rooted sense of purpose, a pioneering spirit that embraces innovation, and a commitment to continuous learning to stay at the forefront of industry advancements.
