DATA SCIENTIST, AI AND ANALYTICS LEAD - INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

As a Data Scientist, AI and Analytics Lead for our international markets, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of data and AI use cases, leveraging your fluency in multiple programming languages and data analysis tools. Furthermore, a strong understanding of AI and cloud computing will be crucial as you will be responsible for leveraging cloud-based resources for data storage, processing, and AI model deployment.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics and AI to enhance our products, services, and customer experienceGreat communication skills will be essential as you will be required to effectively communicate complex data concepts and insights to diverse stakeholders across multiple regionsResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business leaders to identify and deliver AI and data use cases that address critical business challenges and opportunities in international markets.Work closely with IT and data architecture teams to ensure the effective integration and deployment of AI and data use cases within our operational systems and processes.Lead in the development and implementation of advanced analytics and AI models, from the first implementation of BI dashboards to innovative AI solutions, to drive business insights and operational efficiency across our international operations. Communicate findings and insights to diverse stakeholders through compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations, effectively translating complex data concepts into actionable business recommendations.Support the definition and creation of the required data organization teams in each country, ensuring that the right talent and structure are in place to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation.Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, identifying opportunities to apply emerging technologies to drive business value across diverse international markets.Job RequirementsEducationA master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics or a related fieldSpecialization on artificial intelligence techniques and models (Machine Learning, NLP, Predictive Analytics, Generative AI)Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services, with experience in leveraging cloud resources for data and AI applications, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively collaborate and communicate with international teams and stakeholders.ExperienceAt least 6 years of relevant project experience in successfully launching, planning, and executing data science projects, including statistical analysis, data engineering, and data visualization.Proven experience in conducting statistical analysis and building models with advanced scripting languagesExperience leading projects that apply Artificial Intelligence and data science to business functionsSpecialization in text analytics, image recognition, graph analysis, or other specialized ML techniques, such as deep learning, is preferredSkillsLeadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor data teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementAbility to work in diverse, cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environmentFluency in programming languages (Python, R), Data Analysis and Visualization Tools (Jupyter Notebook, Tableau, etc..) , SQL, Machine Learning and AI Frameworks(TensorFlow)Strong understanding of artificial intelligence techniques and models, its potential roles in solving business problems, and the future trajectory of generative AI modelsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts and insights to diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.Superior presentation skills, including storytelling and other techniques to guide and inspireWe believe that the addition of fluency in multiple programming languages and data analysis tools, along with the need for great communication skills, is crucial for this role, as the ability to effectively analyze data, develop AI models, and communicate insights is essential for driving impactful business outcomes across our international operations.In AXA we value diversity and we work for equal opportunities and to make that everyone feels respected and included
