They are seeking a Database Developer with SQL knowledge that will develop and maintain database architecture and code initiatives supporting internal and third-party software solutions, delivering excellent products in scope and on time, and meeting current and long-term business needs for the business area.
Tasks
Collaborate with a geo-diverse team of project managers, scrum masters, software developers, and product owners
Maintain and optimize database systems to ensure reliability and performance
Develop code, objects, and scripts to support database functionality and development
Analyze and understand data intake systems, ensuring smooth data transformation into various product offerings
Contribute to a collaborative, agile environment, frequently wearing multiple hats to meet project goals
Focus on data validation and accuracy to deliver high-quality products
Grow and enhance your database development skills while working on impactful solutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of database developer experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL preferred)
Ability to create and understand data models
Ability to create and maintain stored procedures, views, functions
Ability to write advanced SQL code; queries and statements to explore source data and data issues
Working knowledge of cloud data technologies and architecture
Working knowledge of Python or PowerShell
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for code deployment
Familiarity with execution plan analysis and performance tuning
Full professional of English
