Trusted by clients worldwide, we provide solutions that cover everything from strategy to operations, leveraging our expertise in cloud, data, AI, connectivity, and digital engineering.We are currently looking for a Database Platforms Administrator to join our team!Key Responsibilities:Operate and manage Windows environments and virtual platforms (VMWare).Provision, operate, and decommission physical and virtual servers, as well as virtualization hosts (x86 & non-x86 architectures: SPARC, PowerPC).Manage end-to-end relationships with major suppliers.Ensure compliance with client standards and policies.Document and track all modifications using ServiceNow.Administer database environments, including Oracle, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL.Perform daily and weekly database status verifications and job completion checks (SQL, Oracle).Review error logs, perform index rebuilds/reorganizations, and check storage availability.Collaborate on platform improvement plans.Provide on-demand communication and support for customers.Maintain technical documentation and reporting.Required Skills:2+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.2+ years of experience as an MS SQL Database Administrator.1+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator.Scripting skills with tools like Ansible, Terraform, and other provisioning tools.Extensive experience in Backup/Disaster Recovery and troubleshooting.Experience in security policy deployment and management.High Availability (HA) platform experience.Additional Knowledge (a plus):Knowledge of public cloud platforms (Azure, Google, AWS).Experience with middleware technologies (Weblogic, JBoss, ISS, Tomcat, etc.).Advanced skills in automation/orchestration tools.Strong team and client management abilities.Reporting skills using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.Networking configuration and design experience (VPNs, firewalls, routing, DNS).Experience with backup and storage solutions (Netapp, EMC, NetBackup, Veeam Backup, etc.).Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Remedy.Operational Responsibilities:Manage global service activities: incidents, requests, changes, problems, and root cause analyses (RCA).Verify job statuses for SQL Server and Oracle on a daily and weekly basis.Ensure storage availability for database-related disk drives.Monitor and resolve SQL Server and Oracle error logs.Provide on-call support for customer inquiries.Why You Should Join Us:💼 Steady Job – Permanent contract from day one.🌍 Inclusive Work Environment – Be part of a dynamic and diverse team.💻 Cutting-Edge Projects – Work on innovative technological initiatives.📚 Career Development – Receive specialized training and follow a clear career path.🍽️ Restaurant Tickets🏥 Medical and Life Insurance🧸 Childcare Benefits🚀 Committed Company – We support diversity, equal opportunities, and sustainability.🤝 Teamwork – Collaborate with a highly skilled team.🎉 Events – Participate in regular team and global events.Diversity & Inclusion at Capgemini:At Capgemini, we believe that diversity is a source of innovation and inspiration.
