DEMAND PLANNING TRAINEE

Job Summary In charge of demand planning in local hubs to cover needs of IVD markets under his/her responsibility, maximizing service level and minimizing stock outs and scrap.Key AccountabilitiesDevelops and maintain forecast model for specific IVD portfolio based on product types, consumption, volatility, cost and lead-times.Analyzes data and identify sales trends to adapt forecasting models and planning strategies.Lead and manage monthly demand review meeting together with local BU manager in charge of those markets he/she is forecasting.Maintain and update SAP material master data used for daily demand planning activities.Review forecast metrics through demand planning KPIs.Lead and develop EU/EEMEA forecasting for specific business units under his/her responsibility.Keep smooth and fluent communication with supply planning, marketing and other key stakeholders.Networking/Key relationshipsThis position requires interaction and collaboration with international departments of Supply Planning, Customer Service, Distribution, Sales, Marketing, IS&S, QA.Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:Advanced Excel skills (Macro, PowerQuery, PowerPivot).Acumen of logistics and supply chain principles.Fluent in English. Spanish is desirable.Degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration desirable.
