Additionally, we are the most widely used publisher within the international network of the Instituto Cervantes and the official language schools in SpainAbout the jobWe are looking for a Digital Editor with strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills to manage e-learning projects for German as a foreign language. The selected candidate will be responsible for transforming print books into digital interactive formats, ensuring their pedagogical and technical suitability according to the specifications of the school market and the platforms used.Main responsibilities:• Plan and manage the different phases of the project, ensuring deadlines and publication objectives are met.• Coordinate and oversee the digital editorial development, maintaining the editorial’s quality standards.• Adapt printed book content to the digital environment while preserving learning objectives.• Manage the publication of digital materials, ensuring their correct implementation.• Optimize and supervise multimedia resources (images, audio, video, etc.) for use in digital platforms.• Design and implement interactive activities using authoring tools and web technologies.• Incorporate accessibility improvements into HTML digital books.• Resolve technical issues related to the platform or digital tools in collaboration with the Development department.• Ensure the pedagogical and technical quality of interactive activities.Essential requirements:• Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.• Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and InDesign.• Proficiency in German• Knowledge of Spanish, English and/or French is a plus.Desirable qualifications:• Degree in Philology, Translation and Interpreting, Humanities, Pedagogy, or Teaching with a specialization in languages, or related fields.• Master's degree or postgraduate studies in Publishing, Digital Publishing, e-Learning, or Language Teaching.• Experience with LMS and CMS platforms.Key competencies:• Ability to work in a team and coordinate external collaborators.• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.• Strong organizational and time management skills.• Pedagogical sensitivity and knowledge of the educational field.• Proficiency in digital environments and authoring tools.• Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.What we offer:• The opportunity to be part of an innovative project in the teaching of German as a foreign language.• Flexible working options:On-site position in Barcelona or Madrid, with the possibility of remote work two days a week after the first 6 months in the company.Freelance collaboration for candidates who prefer a remote work arrangement.A position in an international publishing house with over 30 years of experience and offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Chicago, and Amsterdam.Salary package based on experience and qualifications.22 working days of vacation, plus local and national holidays (for on-site employees).Initial six-month contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent.If you think you meet the requirements and are interested in joining a team committed to educational innovation, don´t hesitate to send us your application.We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
