DIGITAL HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER (VHDL, FPGAS)
Descripción de la oferta de empleo
Design digital circuits and FPGA-based systems for various applications using HDLs (preferably VHDL).
Working in a multidisciplinary team researching and developing digital circuit designs, prototyping in FPGAs.
Modeling and simulating complete solutions to evaluate digital circuits.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA prototypes.
Participate in the analysis and specification of digital subsystems and participate and lead design reviews.
Plan and execute tasks in collaboration with the rest of the team to ensure project objectives are met.
Analyzing and criticizing solutions by using quantitative metrics.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Physics with knowledge in digital circuits design and FPGAs.
PhD or MSc.
degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics with experience in digital circuits design and FPGAs.
Experience between 3-5 years in a similar position.
Experience in digital ASICs, embedded systems (SoC, microcontrollers).
Laboratory’s electronic hardware and instrumentation usage.
Experience or knowledge in cryptographic implementations and hardware security.
Experience or knowledge in communications and electronic warfare systems.
Research skills.
Experience in VHDL design.
Experience with FPGA design tools (Xilinx Vivado preferably).
Strong understanding of digital design principles, including logic design, state machines, and data flow.
Proficient in using simulation tools to evaluate digital designs.
