Reporting to the Head of Digital Products, this full-time and permanent position can be based in any of our offices in Europe, UK or APAC and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our statutory tax and accounting solutions and their contribution to our business growth.
This role will be work closely with the team responsible for designing the business product roadmap for statutory tax and accounting solutions to translate that into the digital roadmap required to deliver those solutions to clients.
Knowledge of tax and accounting is not essential but knowledge of delivering digital platforms and solutions is.
Knowledge of Jira would be advantageous.
This is a remote/hybrid role.
Purpose of Role.
Vistra is seeking a Digital Product Manager to manage a suite of applications that our clients use day-to-day.
The Digital Product Manager will manage one or more of Vistra's digital products in leading the development and implementation from ideation to launch and will work with clients and Vistra's own industry experts to define the product roadmap, develop product requirements, test and iterate the product and align cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet business and user needs.
You will work closely with a team of engineers, UI and UX specialists, and Solution Leaders to have a holistic view of the product and ensure its success in the market.
Success is defined by client adoption, retention, satisfaction, and revenue generation for Vistra.
The role may be associated with one or more portals, depending on their size and complexity.
Scope.
The scope of work will be focussed mainly on the allocated portals for Tax and Statutory Accounting services, as well as a Client Dashboard.
There is a requirement to coordinate with other stakeholders within the Corporates Business Unit (CBU) as well as other technical, security and SME teams.
The geographical scope of the role is Global with multiple technology, commercial and operational stakeholders across the Vistra group.
Key responsibilities.
• As the product owner, act as the primary liaison between product business owners, development teams, and support teams to effectively translate business objectives into product features and initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain a cohesive product strategy and goals that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that defines the product vision, value proposition, and prioritizes features based on business and user needs.
• Create detailed product requirements and user stories and work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing to ensure timely and successful delivery of products.
• Drive improvements by initiating and overseeing projects and small changes, manage the change backlog, while ensuring alignment to the strategic vision for the platform and the group.
• Build deep knowledge and expertise in the product and develop materials to support pre and post-sales activities.
Work with commercial and business unit teams to create and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
• Maintain release and implementation schedules and track key performance metrics to measure product success and identify areas for improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in, and contribute to budgetary, business planning, business development and project management processes.
• Stay updated about industry trends and emerging technologies and identify opportunities to incorporate them into product development and strategy.

• At least 5 years of experience in one of the following disciplines, with a focus on product development, requirements gathering, or as a Business Analyst.

• At least 3 years of experience in product management, with a preference for experience as a Product Owner in a digital product environment, and at least one customer or market-facing (B2B or B2C) solution delivered to the market.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
• Experience with process design and communicating with inter-disciplinary operational teams.
• Good experience in working with offshore users & development teams.
• Financial services-based industry experience relevant to Tax & Statutory Accounting is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information System or related discipline.
• Professional fluency in written and oral English.
