Mission:The Independent monitoring engineer reports to the Independent Monitoring Director and supports her/him to ensure the independent evaluation and monitoring to the design management system.Main Responsibilities/Challenges:Participate in the development of the Design Organisation Handbook, preparing and implementing, as appropriate, within the scope of the approval of the design organisation, the procedures for the independent monitoring system.Monitor the design organisation activities and the adequacy of the design management system with the applicable requirements and any additional requirements as established by the organisation, and that those activities are performed properly under the supervision of the nominated persons that are referred within the Design Organisation Handbook (DOH).Support the preparation, implementation and execution of the audit programme and plans to assure that the design assurance activities and the DOA suppliers comply with the requirements and adhered from (EU) 748/2012 and subsequent amendments, and the adequacy of the DOH and its associated procedures.Participate in monitoring and audits, inspection and reviews of the design assurance activities, including the DOA suppliers.Support the updating of the quality documentary repository.Support the monitoring of the treatment of non-conformities addressed in internal audits and by EASA, identifying the root causes and contributing factors for any non-compliance found, defining corrective actions, and following up on their implementation.Support the assessment for new or potential Design Organisation suppliers or new work packages for Design Organisation Approval compliance.Prepare and maintain detailed records of all independent monitoring activities.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the design organization.Requirements:Diploma/Degree preferably in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in aerospace industry, preferably within EASA Part 21 Subpart J organisation.Experience as auditor.Technical skills.Trainer capability.Language skills: English – fluent, Spanish is a plus.Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Inter and intra-organization project management skills.Be able to listen and be people-oriented.Negotiation skills.Specific Knowledge:EU 748/2012 and subsequent amendments (Subpart G)Quality ManagementConfiguration ManagementDesirable knowledge:ISO 9001EN 9100Safety Management principles and tools"En conformidad con lo dispuesto en la normativa actual sobre protección de datos, le informamos que sus datos personales, incluyendo su currículum, así como los que se pudieran generar durante un proceso de selección abierto y para el que ha enviado su currículum, serán tratados por Crisalion Mobility, en adelante Crisalion, con la exclusiva finalidad de llevar a cabo los procesos de selección en los que Ud.
