Job Summary.
Trane Technologies is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The EHS Intern will be responsible for implementation and management of environmental compliance systems, and will ensure environmentally sound and sustainable work practices, and compliance with corporate, local, state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities.
Support and maintain EHS management systems to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and to meet company standards Support with regulatory agencies with direction of EHS Leader, preparing required documentation, scheduling and performing any required testing and providing additional follow-up documentation as required Conducts site visits and employee coaching for adherence to company policies and programs and compliance with state local and federal regulations.
Site visits may include.
mechanical rooms, roof tops, and construction sites Provide leadership and employees guidance on new or changing compliance requirements The employee will be required to stand and walk through commercial service location facilities and service customer locations throughout the day.
The employee may also be required to climb to elevated positions (rooftops) or stoop to low levels to make physical observations Requirements.
File management and organizational skills.
Desire to learn more about other Trane businesses including service for EHS Career Path Knowledge of or ability to learn Benchmark/Gensuite and Other EHS Computer Web Based systems Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Office, Outlook-Teams, One Note and SharePoint Ability to build rapport with Leaders, Technicians and Field Supervision Willingness to travel to multiple regional locations with guidance from Regional EHS Leader to conduct training, site visits to identify and assist with site deficiencies We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs that help our employees thrive in both their professional and personal lives.
