Currently, at Elawan we have 2.1 GW in operations and boasts an impressive portfolio of 8 GW in projects, with 2.5 GW in an advanced development phase and another 5.5 GW in an earlier stage.Based in the HQs in Madrid and reporting directly to the Energy Resource Manager your main duties would be;Main accountabilitiesmeasurement campaigns design/follow up/ monitoring/data analysis from meteorological masts (wind/solar) or remote sensing methods (Lidar)Wind & PV Micro-siting, design, and layout optimization (simple and complex terrain)Wind & PV Energy Yield AssessmentsTechnical feasibility assessment of onshore wind farms and solar PV PlantsPostconstruction wind farm/solar plants analysis (performance, accomplishment of the measures in the EIA, long-term production estimations)Energy evaluation communications in the short-term forecast of the projects in operation of programming tools and databases to manage information, measurement equipment and meteorological masts.Other duties related to the role as required.Requirements and personal skills:Education: Physics, Engineering or equivalent university degrees (B.Sc. min). Energy related posgraduate programs would also be highly valued.Experience (years/area): 0-2 years of experience in the renewables sector would be highly desirable. The ideal candidate has to have knowledge regarding AutoCAD and/or other specific wind/solar energy specific programs hence WASP, Global Mapper, PVsyst and/or SurferRequired Knowledge: Native Spanish and upper-intermediate English.
