Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary! Job DescriptionWhat youll doWe are looking for an experienced Events & Catering Executive to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.
Under the guidance of the Director of Groups, Meetings & Event Sales, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for all our guests.
ssist with on-site meetings as needed.
ork closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
egotiate rates, space rental and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
ccurately produce and/or review all sales contracts, rate agreements, and/or banquet/catering event orders.
ollow up with clients regularly during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.
upervise the preparation, setup, and service of catering functions.
Coordinate with the culinary team for the menus.
ssist in managing event and catering budgets, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
onduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and staff.
ualificationsWhat we are looking for...
egree in Hospitality Management, Event Management or related studies.+2 years of experience in luxury events or catering within the hospitality industry.
bility to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
