Shape the future of global trade with DP World!About the Role:As a Finance Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within the organization. Your primary responsibility is to provide financial insights and support to drive strategic business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to analyze financial data, create financial models, and develop forecasts.How you will contribute:Financial Analysis and Reporting:- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management.- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.Budgeting and Forecasting:- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, providing explanations for variances.- Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and timely forecasting.Business Performance Analysis:- Conduct profitability and cost analysis to support business initiatives.- Evaluate the financial impact of potential projects and investments.- Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to improve business performance.Data Management:- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.- Maintain and update financial databases and systems.- Automate and streamline financial processes where possible.Cross-functional Collaboration:- Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to gather relevant data and insights.- Support cross-functional projects with financial analysis and business case development.- Act as a liaison between the finance department and other business units.Compliance and Risk Management:- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities.- Assist in internal and external audits as required.Continuous Improvement:- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.What you will bring:Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.- Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred- Bachelor in Data Science is a plus.Experience:- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related field.- Experience in a corporate finance environment is preferred.Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and other financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Power BI- Excellent communication and presentation skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Additional Information:- Work Environment: Barcelona OfficeCompensation:DP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
