Based in every corner of the world, our people are passionate about what we do.As the Finance - Global Cost Accounting Intern, you will support the Global Cost Accounting Leader and the team in their day-to-day activities and provide support on ongoing process improvement projects.What will you do? Working closely with the Global Cost Accounting leader, based in Barcelona, your tasks could include any of the following:Support with process improvement projects. For example:Map current processes and gap analysis (e.g. in Visio and PowerPoint)Map future state requirement and processes (e.g. in Visio and PowerPoint)Support with data analytics and creation of future reports (e.g. in PowerBI)Support project management activities: support with project status and progress tracking, maintain RAID log, etc.Backfill support to the cost accounting team. For example support with:Standard costing process, product costing and inventory valuationCost variance analysis and reportingData analysis on cost changes and cost exceptions as well as cost trend analysesWhat are we looking for ? To be successful in this role you should have foundational finance knowledge, you should have either completed your (under)graduate program in Finance or are currently finalizing your last months in the program.English professional level is a must.Ideally competent in MS OFFICE.What’s in it for you?
