The CDO team at Openbank leads and drives data projects, ensuring the implementation of global policies and standards while promoting data as a key asset.
The team safeguards against potential data risks, supporting both Spain’s operations and international expansion.
This role as Data Governance & Monitoring Associate Expert will include.
- Contribute to management of the data lifecycle, ensuring data governance and control.
- Guarantee Group alignment in data strategy transposing best practices and accomplishing global targets.
- Execution of BAU tasks requested by global function.
- Evolve and continue feeding the data management tools already in use.
•    Elaboration of Data Management indicators for monthly review.
•    Data Dictionary&Traceability Management.
•    Reports library Mgmt.
- Cooperation&Monitoring of Data Activities.
with the technology division responsible, business and other functions, to define and develop analytical and reporting capabilities.
Establish a solid data management procedure involving the roles who.
request, execute and validate the information produced, to avoid duplicity, distrust, inefficiency.
- Preparation of committees.
- Review and transposition of policies and documentation.
To be successful in the role you must have.
- At least 6 years of experience in Data Management and Data Analytics - Experience in cross projects management - Good communication skills - Experience in the financial/banking industry.
- Ability to query data in SQL and/or Python and MS Office proficient.
- Advanced knowledge of data architectures (preferable big data arch) and associated technologies related to data (IT stack of a financial entity).
- Preferable experience using Data management tools.
- Languages.
Fluent Spanish and Advanced English (minimum requirement).
