IENAI SPACE is an early-stage startup located in Madrid, developing an end-to-end ecosystem of in-space mobility products, including propulsion systems and engineering SaaS. We are a highly innovative company in the “New Space” sector; the team is made up of a dynamic and multidisciplinary group of engineers, PhDs and developers, looking to revolutionize space mobility for the adoption of propulsion products in the smallest of satellites. We recently kickstarted our commercial phase with our first product: 360™, a Mission and Space Mobility analysis SaaS.Our mission is to build tailored, end-to-end space mobility products and services for the next generation of small satellites empowering a sustainable new space economy. You will work closely with our Mission Analysis team and UX/UI Designer, using advanced technologies and methodologies to create outstanding and responsive features for our 360™ tool.Your key responsibilities will include:Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that align with design specifications.Use tools to ensure application data remains consistent and properly integrated with APIs.Develop and execute tests, addressing any cross-browser and device compatibility challenges.Maintain clean, reusable code and manage version control with Git.What will make you succeed?We are looking for (must have):3-5 years of experience in front-end development.Proven experience working with the following technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, React and Next.js.Experience with Material-UI or similar design libraries for building responsive, accessible user interfaces.Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API, Zustand).Experience in consuming RESTful APIs and managing asynchronous requests.Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration.Understanding of Docker and how to create and manage Docker images for deployment.Familiarity with AWS services, especially those relevant to application deployment and hosting (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).Knowledge of how Python works and how it runs in a virtual environment (since we install python in our frontend for use with the code editor).Experience with CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment.Must have solid experience with responsive design principles.Requires prior experience working with Figma, demonstrating autonomy in consuming designs provided by the design team. This includes understanding and utilizing components, variables, and style guides effectively.Soft skills: problem-solving, strong verbal and written communication skills, team collaboration and attention to detail.We also value (nice to have):Experience with AWS Copilot for application deployment not required but always a plus.Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) for unit and integration testing.Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for React and Next.js applications.Accessibility (a11y): understanding of web accessibility standards and practices.Basic understanding of DevOps practices, especially related to CI/CD with Docker.What benefits do we offer you at IENAI SPACE?💼 Temporary contract (4-6 months) until the end of the project.⏰ Schedule: we know that everyone works at their own pace, so you are free to organise your day in the way that works best for you.
