If you are passionate about the intersection of AI and user experience, this is the role for you.About the Role:As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will lead on the frontend development of TransPerfect’s most popular product used by tens of thousands of users each month. In addition, you will be involved in the development of new AI-powered products. You will closely collaborate with UX/UI Designers, developers, product managers and QA team to deliver cutting-edge products and ensure they add value for our customers.Your responsibilities will include:Collaborating with the other members of the AI development team, designers and product managers to create scalable, high-quality frontend solutions for new and existing products within the AI portfolioParticipate and take the lead in architectural decisions related to frontend codebaseProvide mentorship to junior and mid-level developersLead the improvement and optimization of the team’s existing frontend technology stack, code maintainability and scalability to meet current and future requirementsLead and enforce best practices in code reviews, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained across the teamWorking with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the highest standards of functionality and usability across all product releasesTroubleshooting and resolving issues, including providing bug fixes and support to customers as neededSkills and requirements:At least 5 years of work experience as a frontend developerExpert knowledge of ReactJS/NextJS and ability to guide other developers in these frameworksStrong experience in developing responsive user interfacesStrong experience in developing accessible softwareIn-depth understanding of browser performance and techniques to improve rendering performance, and reduce load timeKnowledge of Docker and Linux systemsAbility to design, plan, and implement complex frontend architectures, including micro-frontends or component librariesDetail oriented, responsive and committed to quality, with a strong background writing unit testsExceptional problem-solving skillsThe ability to learn new technologies quicklyKnowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologiesAbility to work independently in a changing environmentAnalytical thinkingGood written and spoken communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with others in a team environmentValued but not required skills and experience:Experience in serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferredInterest in natural language processing, machine translation, and machine learningVery Strong MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL skillsFull-stack development skills (Python or GoLang)Experience in designing artificial intelligence solutionsTraining or Experience as DevOps (private or public cloud)Strong experience working with CI/CD pipelines (like in TFS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins…) and KubernetesExperience developing application regulated by CFR 21 Part 11 and GDPRExperience working in the localization industry is an assetBy applying, I confirm I have read and accept TransPerfect's Privacy Policy: https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting
