Our mission statement is to provide innovative technology to the MTS Globe Group's 65 destination offices in 19 countries in and around the Mediterranean Sea, North Africa, the Black Sea, the Arabian Gulf, the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.
6,3 million guests were managed through our systems in 2018. We provide excellent and highly automated integration to our customers (tour operators).
MTS Globe, OTS Globe and Axis Data are determined to deliver a superior service to the end customer, travelling to one of our destinations.
Axis Data operates in a flexible and dynamic environment, has a flat hierarchy and values initiative and pro-activity very highly. Flexibility, good team-work and excellent communication skills are requirements for any function.
Tareas
For our Development Team in Palma, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to be responsible of the development of a new application in the tourism industry.
Responsibilities
Participates in Java 17+ application development supporting business objectives while providing expertise in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing.
Development, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of a web application using full-stack JavaScript.
Analyses, designs and build component-based applications in an on-line XML delivery environment, incl. modelling techniques, component and object-oriented design, complex algorithmic coding and systematic approaches to application and system integration.
Performs hands-on coding and assists in architecture.
Collaborate very closely with other development teams in other countries.
A certificate of disability will be recognised
Requisitos
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Java (incl. Java 17+) developing experience (at least 3 years).
knowledge of developing web applications with JavaScript.
Work experience and references in tourism industry.
Knowledge of English in speaking and writing.
Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a proven ability to work with others as part of an established development team.
Experience with common testing frameworks.
Must have a proven ability to work with deadlines.
Desirable knowledges:
Additional certifications in core technologies.
Proficiency in Gradle, Hexagonal Architecture, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, SonarQube, Swagger, and Kafka is highly desirable.
Experience with Enterprise Middleware.
