These solutions must enable the flow of information between various systems within the organization, including designing and managing robust and scalable database solutions.Work on multiple projects at once while keeping focused on the project timeline.Design, develop, and deploy Software applications, new features, and defect fixes.Review test cases, test plans, and automated test scripts.Write Unit Tests, perform code reviews, and participate in Scrum meetings. Lead story grooming sessions and prepare low-level design specifications for features/user stories.Collaborate with the Agency team to review and deliver high-quality software applications.Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and maintain database integrity and performance.Good skills in evaluating the performance and security of applications and delivering solutions that are efficient and performant, including optimizing database operations.Participate as an integral and enthusiastic part of the team, exhibiting ownership, follow-through, initiative, awareness, and effective communication with peers and management.Continually learn, actively share knowledge, and foster the exchange of skills.Understand and thrive in a fast-paced, sense-of-urgency environment.About you:University degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar qualification.Minimum 2 years of work experience in software development, including experience in database design and optimization.Tech stack:Proficiency in PHP/MySQL and the Laravel framework is required.Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL) including query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting.Experience in database design, schema management, and maintaining database performance and scalability.Experience with vanilla JavaScript, and knowledge of React/Vue would be ideal.Frontend design and UX skills are a plus.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Gitlab).Basic Linux skills, especially with servers running on Ubuntu.Experience with database migration tools and database interaction layers like Eloquent ORM in Laravel.Open-minded and motivated to move things forward.High perception and very good communication skills.Honest and a great team player.
