This internship is ideal for a computer science student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in SaaS development and cloud infrastructure, working with a talented investment team in an agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Software Component Architecture: Design software components that align with our product roadmap hypotheses, supporting SAC Capital’s strategic objectives.Agile Product Development: Collaborate with the investment team to create and execute an agile development plan for our interactive product.SaaS Development Tasks:Integrate Excel capabilities for seamless data interactions within our platform.Develop and manage APIs to connect with various services and enhance platform functionality.Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and performance.Assist in DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment strategies. Knowledge Requirements:Production Models: Understanding of production-level development and the ability to work with scalable, maintainable code.Machine Learning & Databases: Advanced knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience with databases.Cloud Platforms:Experience with AWS and Google Cloud for infrastructure and deployment.Databases:Proficiency in SQL for data storage and manipulation.Programming Languages:Proficiency in Java and Python for backend development.What You'll LearnDuring this internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience with core technologies and real-world applications in venture capital, including:Full Stack Development: Work on both front-end and back-end aspects of a SaaS platform, including secure login systems, API development, and Excel integration.Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps: Learn to set up and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Google Cloud, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
