As a Fullstack Developer, you will be a key contributor to enhancing our platform's functionality, performance, and user experience. Your responsibilities will involve both frontend and backend development, focusing on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, Typescript). In addition to maintaining and optimizing the existing codebase, you will also be responsible for adding new functionalities and extending our current frontend applications. You will also actively extend our API functionalities. Your expertise in web software development and creative problem-solving skills will play a vital role in the growth and evolution of our platform.Location: 4 days remote + 1 day on-site at the officeResponsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into efficient and scalable solutions, encompassing both frontend and backend technologies.Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, frontend interfaces, and backend systems using the MERN stack.Extend existing APIs by adding or modifying endpoints to accommodate new functionalities, ensuring seamless data flow, system compatibility, and enhanced features.Refactor and optimize existing codebase to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.Add new functionalities and extend existing frontend applications, enhancing user interactivity and experience.Provide constructive feedback to improve code quality, maintain consistency, and optimize API performance.Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.Requirements:Solid Experience in Full-Stack Development: Candidates must have substantial experience in both front-end and back-end development, specifically with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript). Additional experience with PHP is highly desirable.Understanding of Architectural Styles: Understanding and practical experience with hexagonal architecture, along with familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar full-stack development roles, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.API Design and Development: Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating external systems. Database Expertise: Familiarity with database systems, including both MongoDB and MySQL. Understanding of database design and best practices.Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems, with a preference for Git.Problem-Solving and Analysis: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements to propose effective, scalable solutions.Agile and Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective knowledge sharing and pair-programming practices.Proactivity and Continuous Learning: A proactive attitude with a strong motivation to learn and grow.
