With currently around 200 employees from different countries, we are actively shaping the future of work.Your primary responsibilities include:Interpret, solution design and correctly implement business requirementsProvide estimates of work to assist in project planning activityDesign low-maintenance, sustainable and scalable software solutions to meet business requirementsReduce technical debt where appropriateEmbedded in a high performing SCRUM Team, participating in the various SCRUM ritualsLiaise with peer system owners to ensure any impacts are properly understood, documented, and mitigated against from an up and downstream perspectiveBuild solutions using established industry best practices, technologies, and standardsQuality first environment, developing a clean code base and working with the test team to ensure the appropriate levels of testing, timely defect management and resolutionSupport business users through User Acceptance TestingDeploy solutions with care and contingency in mindRelease Management, Runbook and Hypercare support/planningCollaborate with IT colleagues from Architecture, Infrastructure, Business Analysis, Test and Digital OperationsAccurately document technical designs, constraints and code base to faciliate knowledge repository, cross training and impact assessmentsEnsure compliance with all organisational, legal, regulatory and department standards including SOX compliance and SecurityTo fit this post we look after:Educational/ ExperienceA degree in software engineering, computing, or related subject5+ years professional experience working in a Software Engineer/Developer roleKnowledge of the full SDLCExperience working in an Agile development environment is desirableMust be a self-starter, exhibit intellectual curiosity and keen to constantly improve and make the team more efficient in delivering value to the businessMust be able to take initiative and work independently while maintaining strong team relationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTechnical/FunctionalExcellent knowledge of C# ASP.NET MVC frameworksExcellent knowledge of ReactExcellent knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, CSSExperience with Visual Studio .NETExperience with relational database such as Oracle SQL or SQL ServerExperience building responsive websites, UI designExperience in writing .NET Web Services and consuming Web API’sExperience writing unit tests for front-end and back-endGood understanding working with AWS or Azure, creating and maintaining resources in the CloudGood understanding of version control software (branching, merging etc.)Excellent time and work management skillsGood communication skills.C1 English levelWhat we offer:Way of working: remoteWork from home or anywhere you feel comfortable as long as you live in Spain and you have a valid work-permit.
