GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT

JBT Foodtech Spain is looking for our next GL Accountant to join our Global SSC based in San Fernando de Henares JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience.
Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
2-3 year experience in General Accounting & Accounting in multinational company.
SSC Experience Knowledge of ERP Solutions (Syteline/SAP/JDE) and Hyperion or equivalent.
Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications.
Strong Accounting knowledge US GAAP Reporting knowledge Transactional processes and problem solving.
SOX/Internal Controls knowledge.
Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Data Accuracy.
Strong ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to perform under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines.
Problem solving Planning and organizing Communication and teamwork Languages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform GL daily activities, with a teamwork spirit and creating good atmosphere within the team.
Support on the daily operations of the General Ledger area.
Reporting, Reconciliations, analysis, Blackline tasks … Month end closing tasks.
Reporting in HFM, Consolidation, Intercompany, Accruals, Prepaid.
Used as GL Expert for all other SSC teams.
Guaranteeing all general ledger transactions are performed under a strong internal controls framework.
Ensure appropriate controls are in use so that US GAAP Financial Statements are correctly reported following JBT Financial Standards.
