Our mission is to simplify Earth Observation (EO) data with AI to provide actionable insights. We are expanding rapidly, and we’re looking for a creative, driven Geospatial Developer intern to help us with GEO data projects.Mission:Our mission is to unlock the value of Earth Observation (EO) data.We use Artificial intelligence (AI) to absorb complexity & lower the cost.We extract valuable insights for evidence-based decision making.Complex data, made easy!Position Overview:As a Geospatial Developer Intern, you will support the team by contributing to projects involving the processing and analysis of geospatial data. You’ll work with Earth Observation datasets and have the opportunity to participate in projects that integrate Artificial Intelligence to solve real-world problems. Additionally, you will assist in improving and developing our products, ensuring they meet client needs and leverage the latest technologies. We expect you to bring a solid understanding of Python programming and basic geospatial data knowledge to the role.Key Responsibilities:§ Assist in the execution of pilots, demos, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and projects, ensuring attention to detail in processes and a focus on delivering results to clients.§ Help develop and improve our product, with a specific focus on efficient data access and the development of algorithms.§ Support the development of data analysis algorithms and efficient data access pipelines, contributing to their deployment into production while learning to improve existing processes.§ Assist in all phases of developing AI4EO models, including dataset creation, cleaning, preprocessing, and validation.§ Research and propose new data sources to enhance project outcomes and product offerings.Qualifications:§ Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Geoinformation, Geospatial Science, or a related technical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science).§ Strong interest in geospatial and Earth Observation data.§ Solid knowledge of Python programming.§ Familiarity with geospatial data (GIS, remote sensing) is required.§ Experience with Earth Observation data is a plus.§ Interest in Artificial Intelligence applications is highly valued.§ Creative, eager to learn, and a team player.§ Strong communication skills, with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.§ Fluent in English (Spanish and Catalan are a plus).What We Offer:§ Paid internship with flexible working hours.§ Mentorship from senior experts in geospatial data, Earth Observation, and AI.§ Opportunities to work on real-world projects with a positive social and environmental impact.§ Involvement in projects integrating Artificial Intelligence for geospatial analysis.§ A collaborative work environment where your contributions make a difference.§ A chance to join the NewSpace and AI4EO revolution, applying your skills to the future of Earth Observation.Location: Barcelona, SpainWe’re a young, dynamic and hardworking team, passionate about our mission.Join us to work together in the NewSpace era and take part in the AI4EO revolution!
