JEFE DE VENTAS – SALES MANAGER  THE HOTEL MIRAMAR BARCELONA: A URBAN RESORT Is a 5 Star GL Boutique Hotel, located in Barcelona. The hotel offers 75 spacious rooms, MICE facilities, restaurant, bar and Pool Club, spa and the best views of the entire Barcelona.  If you are passionate about building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of sales objectives and personal sales goals, this could be a great carrer opportunity.    Job Overview:  The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and business growth for the hotel, specializing in multiple services such as spa, MICE, F&B outlets, and room bookings. This position focuses on developing and executing strategies to maximize occupancy, event bookings, and service usage. The Sales Manager will work closely with department leaders to ensure seamless promotion and delivery of the hotel’s offerings, building long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and high-end guests.  Responsabilities: - Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing revenue across all segments, including rooms, wellness services, F&B outlets, and MICE. Identify and target key markets such as corporate, leisure, and event clients.   - Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and nurturing existing relationships. Attend industry events, trade shows, and sales missions to network and promote the hotel’s services.   - Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and luxury travel agents. Understand client needs and tailor the hotel’s offerings to suit their requirements. Manage key accounts and ensure client satisfaction.   - MICE Sales: Develop and manage a pipeline of MICE leads and bookings. Work closely with the event planning team to ensure smooth coordination of conferences, meetings, weddings, and social events. Promote the hotel as a premier destination for large-scale events.   - Wellness & F&B Sales: Collaborate with the teams to create attractive packages and promotions to increase bookings for these services. Target guests, corporate clients, and local markets to maximize usage and guest satisfaction.   - Market Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and guest preferences to adjust sales strategies. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports on sales performance, booking pace, and revenue projections.   - Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotional materials that highlight the hotel’s key offerings. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all sales channels.   - Sales Negotiation & Contracts: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring profitable agreements that align with the hotel’s financial goals. Ensure all contractual terms are clearly communicated and adhered to by both parties.   - Revenue & Yield Management: Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies and ensure maximum occupancy and service usage while maintaining profitability.    - Client Events & Site Inspections: Host client site visits, familiarize potential clients with the hotel’s offerings, and organize showcase events to highlight the hotel’s capabilities for MICE, F&B, and wellness services.  WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR YOUR SUCCESS IN THE ROLE - Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in luxury hotels (5*), with a strong focus on MICE, corporate sales, and leisure markets. - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. - Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. - Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis in the luxury hospitality industry. - Experience in international brands and relationship with processes and standards. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Experience in cross-departmental collaboration, particularly with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams. - Advanced English
