GLOBAL IT SOURCING AND PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

We are looking for you to work as Global IT Sourcing and Procurement Specialist!The Global IT Sourcing Specialist is a key member of the Global IT Sourcing and Procurement team, reporting directly to the IT Sourcing and Procurement Manager. This role involves working in an international environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams from various countries. The global exposure offered by this position provides a unique opportunity to gain insights into different markets, procurement practices, and cultural perspectives, thereby enhancing professional development and broadening expertise.Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate should possess qualities such as transparency, strong ethics, reliability, accuracy, and the ability to foster trust and a sense of teamwork. The candidate should have a background in both finance and technology, with at least 10 years of experience in IT procurement managing complex RFPs and agreements. A proven track record of success in IT procurement and a strong adherence to procurement processes and procedures to ensure compliance is essential. A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain is required. A master’s degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous, as would prior experience in similar global roles or at a well-known global research and advisory company.Expertise required:Conducting financial analysis related to procurement activities.Understanding new IT and Telecom technologies (Software, Services, Cloud, SaaS, etc.)Developing sourcing demand plansConducting market research on IT products and servicesManaging complex competitive events autonomously (RFX: Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Request for Quotation)Conducting negotiations, including commercial and legal terms and conditionsManaging various agreements such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), etc.Supporting the contract lifecycle managementMonitoring and assessing vendor performance through scorecards and other evaluation methods.Building and maintaining positive vendor relationshipsProviding advance reports on procurement activities (KPIs, SLAs, Capex/ Opex Spend)Collaborating closely with the legal department to ensure appropriate legal protection.Desirable skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong negotiation skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with video calls and meetings.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with a keen attention to accuracy.Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Passionate about building new capabilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Proficient in both verbal and written EnglishAbout HCLTech:We are HCLTech, one of the fastest-growing large tech companies in the world and home to 225,000+ people across 60 countries, supercharging progress through industry-leading capabilities centered around Digital, Engineering and Cloud.
