Job Description: Head of Growth – Sales and MarketingLocation: Madrid, Spain (Remote options negotiable)Company: Skandal Technologies (www.poet.software)About the Role:Skandal Technologies is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Growth – Sales and Marketing to design and implement scalable systems and processes that will drive our global expansion. This pivotal role focuses on building the infrastructure for inbound and outbound sales and marketing, creating the foundation for future team growth while delivering immediate results.You will be responsible for developing automated prospecting systems, optimizing marketing channels, and implementing an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy targeting high-value accounts in industries such as construction, professional services, sports and entertainment, and large-scale infrastructure. By building efficient and scalable processes, you will enable Skandal to secure key accounts, reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC), and drive sustainable growth.This is a hands-on role where you will play a critical part in laying the groundwork for scaling Skandal's innovative technology solutions in IoT, AI, and ambient communication. Familiarity with the audio-visual (AV) market is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Inbound and Outbound Sales SystemsInbound Sales Processes:Design and implement systems to capture, track, and nurture inbound leads effectively.Create automated follow-up sequences to maximize engagement and conversion rates.Optimize lead scoring and CRM workflows to ensure efficient handoffs.Outbound Sales Processes:Develop a structured outbound sales process targeting high-value accounts.Implement ABM strategies to engage decision-makers via email, LinkedIn, and phone.Use data and insights to refine outreach strategies and ensure a personalized approach.Marketing Engine DevelopmentAutomated Marketing Campaigns:Build and scale automated marketing campaigns that nurture leads across the buyer's journey.Analyze CAC for each channel and optimize for profitability.Content and Channel Optimization:Collaborate with design and technical teams to create content that highlights Skandal’s unique value proposition.Test and scale profitable marketing channels to achieve predictable revenue growth.Account-Based Marketing (ABM):Lead targeted ABM campaigns to engage stakeholders in large, strategic accounts across relevant industries.Create customized content and outreach plans tailored to specific industry pain points.Foundational Growth OperationsPerformance Metrics and Analytics:Measure key KPIs, including pipeline volume, lead conversion rates, CAC, and revenue growth.Continuously optimize sales and marketing processes based on performance insights.Scalability:Develop systems and frameworks that enable future team growth.Create training resources, playbooks, and workflows for seamless scaling of inbound and outbound teams.Candidate Profile:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of implementing scalable systems and processes.Experience in ABM, marketing automation, and CRM management.Skills and Expertise:System Builder:Deep expertise in setting up sales and marketing infrastructure.Proven ability to create scalable systems that deliver measurable results.Data-Driven Approach:Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate CAC and optimize channel performance.Global Communication:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.Spanish proficiency is a strong advantage.Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with Real Estate, Architecture, IoT or AV markets is a plus.Tools Proficiency:Experience with marketing automation tools, CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and data analytics platforms.What We Offer:The opportunity to shape the future of a cutting-edge start-up redefining intelligent architecture.Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Significant growth opportunities with the potential to scale your role as the company grows.A collaborative, global team environment with flexible working arrangements.Join Us:If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for building scalable systems that drive growth, we’d love to hear from you!
