HEAD OF POWER AND CONNECTIONS

Box2Bit a developer and operator of digital infrastructures focused on sustainable digitization of the economy, is in search of a professional for Design, coordination, management, and control of projects involving connections and electricity for digital infrastructure (Data Centers) associated with renewable energy parks. Reporting directly to the company’s COO, your main responsibilities will include:Project Management and Coordination:Manage, coordinate, and plan electricity and connection projects linked to digital infrastructures (data centers) and connected to substations and renewable energy parks (wind and solar), guiding them to financial closure and operation.Plan and control costs and cash flow.Oversee end-to-end electrical and connection projects, including activities such as design and promotion, engineering, procurement, subcontracting, financial assistance, and organizing due diligence processes (Legal, Technical, and Insurance).Internal and External Communication:Act as the point of contact for assigned projects, coordinating with all company departments.Provide continuous updates on project status and ensure the completion of critical actions.Report project progress and key aspects to the COO.Civil and Electrical Coordination:Collaborate with the Civil Works PM to ensure alignment between building deployment and electrical connections, including substation design and construction.Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.Stakeholder Management:Manage technical relationships with financial entities/investors and their technical advisors (contractors and engineering firms).Support financial analysis and the preparation of models (inputs, etc.) and various project-related documents (reports, presentations, etc.).Technical Supervision:Oversee the electrical design of critical infrastructures, including substations, high- and medium-voltage lines, and internal networks within data centers.Handle access and connection requests with TSOs and DSOs, ensuring permissions and technical feasibility.Validate technical studies such as redundancy analysis, short-circuit calculations, electrical specifications, and OFCI equipment specifications.Coordinate the integration of renewable assets (solar and wind) into electrical infrastructures, managing their connection to substations.Supervise contractors and engineering teams to ensure the proper implementation of electrical designs.Develop technical contingency plans to address issues with connections or electrical infrastructures.Support electrical capacity studies, evaluating technical feasibility, and optimizing solutions to meet project requirements.Requirements:Advanced Degree in Industrial Engineering (Electrical Specialty), Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.5–10 years of experience in substations, electrical lines, and connections.At least 5 years of experience managing internal and external teams.Knowledge of national electrical regulations.Proven experience in the design, development, and construction of critical infrastructures (hospitals, public buildings, data centers, etc.).Experience in renewable energy projects is a plus.Familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes is a plus.Fluent English (capable of professional conversations with foreign peers).If you meet the requirements for Head of Power and Connections, send us your CV, we are looking for you!
