Following a strategic review of their procurement structure, they are hiring for several key roles in their team and central to their procurement transformation will be the appointment of their Head of Procurement Excellence.This is a very exciting role, tasked with designing and implementing key strategic procurement policies to enhance visibility of data, improved procurement governance, promotion of ESG goals and better collaboration throughout the global and regional procurement teams. This is a potentially landmark role for someone’s procurement career and will offer the global exposure to excel internally and progress quickly in the team.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Head of Procurement Excellence will be tasked with leading a procurement operating model review with all relevant stakeholders – assessing the current structure and scope of roles to recommend better ways of working and more alignment across regional sourcing teams and global procurementWorking with key category leads and the Global Procurement Director to understand challenges and bottlenecks in the procurement processes before designing and implementing key procurement policies to create a more efficient and compliant working environmentLeading projects on improving procurement’s digital road map – working with procurement, finance and HR to support the roll out of S2P processes and the tools and systems to underpin its successWorking with CSR, Sustainability and key stakeholders globally to requirement gather for ESG policies before rolling out across procurement to promote responsible sourcing practicesDesigning a project roadmap for the global procurement transformation – identifying key goals and timelines and helping the global procurement team to prioritise relevant projectsSkills and ExperiencePrior experience working in a procurement centre of excellence (CoE) position or procurement transformation role - leading global projects to improve strategy, operational support and procurement governanceA track record of designing and implementing digital roadmaps for procurement - with experience rolling out processes and systems to support Source to Pay (S2P) across a global remitExperience working with senior stakeholders to define procurement operating models and creating project roadmaps to prioritise key steps and goals at every point of the procurement transformationAs well as fluent Spanish - additional languages such as Italian or French would be beneficialWhy should you apply?The opportunity to join a global business in an exciting role with the chance to help build a best in class procurement functionExcellent starting salary and package with the option to support relocation for anyone with the right to work in EuropeA landmark role for your procurement career with the chance to progress quickly in the companyThe opportunity to get involved in exciting projects across ESG, Procurement digitisation and global governanceIf you are interested in the role and would like to discuss – click Apply now or send your CV directly to Declan at declan@pod-talent.comThe Pod Procurement team recruits both permanent and interim from Procurement Analyst to CPO level.
