HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

maybe this is your place!:) Your main mission will be to give quality service to both Internal and External guests and be responsible for the cleanliness and professional maintenance of all guest rooms, public areas and back of house offices.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, What will your day-to-day work be like?.
- Administrative responsibilities, reporting to the Housekeeping Assistant Manager.
Prepare the weekly schedule Assign team members their duties and inspect work for compliance to standards of cleanliness.
Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and take corrective action.
Prepare warehouse requisition for the department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
Assist Executive Housekeeper in establishing and maintaining Department Standards Conduct Daily Briefings Liaise with Maintenance to ensure repairs are reported and completed in a timely manner Liaise with Front Office to ensure room turnover meets standard time Daily Checks of All Linen and Storerooms.
Provide Housekeeping Supervisor and Public Area Supervisor duties when necessary.
Participates in All Inventories Conducts Employee Evaluations.
Conducts On the job training.
Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.
Recommend promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
Handle Guests complaints and requests as necessary.
Does random inspections in all Housekeeping Areas.
Monitor All V.

Requisitos Who is the ideal person for this position?.
Academic Qualification.
-Highschool Degree.
-Diploma in Supervisory Management.
Experience / Knowledge.
1 year supervisory experience in hotel operations.
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Tools.
Management of Office or Similar Packages.
Use of Excel or similar programs at intermediate level.
Use of PowerPoint or similar programs at medium level.
Languages.
Ability to communicate in English with guests, management, employees, and outside contractors to their understanding.
Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.
Skills.
Must be able to train.
To be able to remain focused and be detailed in product delivery.
Ability to maintain the Standards of the company and Department.
Able to motivate the team to deliver.
Ability to think quickly and find solutions to issues faced daily.
