maybe this is your place!:) Your main mission as a Houseman is to provide quality housekeeping service for all hotel guests that exemplify the Company values in the day to day execution of the job and in compliance with housekeeping standards and procedures as outlined.
As Houseman, What will your day-to-day work be like?.
-Complete worksheet at the end of each area you have done to ensure that you covered the areas assigned -Adheres to very high standards for overall cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and hotel facilities.
-Ensure the cleanliness, order, and maintenance of guest’s areas as well as designated staff areas.
-To ensure special cleaning duties are carried out in all areas as per the cleaning schedule.
-Communicate any maintenance issues, breakages and complaints to supervisor/Manager immediately.
-Adhere to procedures for the security of property – company, guest and personal.
Deal with lost property and report immediately any suspicious circumstances or persons acting strangely.
Carry linens, towels, amenities and cleaning supplies in a properly stocked and tidy cart.
-Accommodate guest requests for Housekeeping items or additional supplies in an expedient and courteous manner.
-Ensure the correct use of cleaning agents on all surfaces and that manufacturer’s instructions on cleaning agents are observed.
-Adhere to safety procedures whenever lifting, pushing or pulling.
-Must be able to understand and follow written or oral instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and visitors.
-Must be flexible and willing to take initiative in identifying and performing work that needs to be done.
-Follow and adhere to JOIA practices and procedures as outlined by Company standards and Local laws.
-Ensure safety practices and procedures are being followed as outlined by Company standards.
-Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance, wearing the correct uniform / protective clothing.
-Attend hotel and departmental training sessions whenever instructed.
-Practice the correct use and care of all equipment.
- Demonstrate courteous, friendly, professional work environment.
-Demonstrate a commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and Team Members.
-To assist with the training of new staff.
-Work in cooperation with other departments, especially reception.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues both in housekeeping and in other departments.
-Perform additional projects or duties to the overall operation and direction of the laundry department as determined by management.
Requisitos Who is the ideal person for this position?.
Academic Qualification.
Basic Education Experience.
1 year experience in specific position Skills.
-Knowledge of providing exceptional guest service.
-Meet quality standards for services and customer satisfaction.
-Ability to understand and speak English.
-Strong organizational and customer service skills.
-Able to work and focus in a fast paced environment.
-Must be able to adapt to constant changes.
-Able to work well with others.
-Able to successfully work independently and as part of a team.

-Ability to work unsupervised, must be focused and detailed.
-Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
-Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
-Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles continuously.
-Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs.
