Our headquarters and technology centers are located in Europe and the United States, and our workforce is more than 7,000 strong.In Werfen, our purpose is to contribute to the advancement of patient care around the world through innovative specialized diagnostics solutions.Job SummaryThe Human Resources Business Partner acts as a key strategic business partner, facilitator and liaison for HR related activities for their assigned client group/s. The successful HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent, assessing and anticipating HR related needs. The HRBP aligns and interacts with HR teams around the globe to deliver value-added service in line with the HR Global Strategic plan. He/she works closely with Global HR functions such as compensation, benefits, HRIS, and external consultants. The HR Business Partner is proactively involved in developing, maintaining and ensuring consistency with the HR practices, policies, procedures and programs in place in the given site.The HR Business Partner is responsible for guiding and coaching the assigned client group in the HR expert topics such as: talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, learning & development, employee relations and other activities that maintain a highly engaged workforce.The HR Business Partner is responsible for the transactional management of HR admin topics of his/her client groups. The HR Business Partner service scope is diverse providing support to onsite client groups within a specific facility and/or client groups or employees located remotely. The HRBP may directly or indirectly coordinate other functions, services or employees.On top of the Human Resources Business Partner role, he/she will also have the specialist role in the OEM Technology Center of Labor Relations, Compensation and Benefits and HR Administration and payroll. Compensation and benefits: providing support to its internal clients in reference to salary requirements; Internal and external equityLabor Relations: acting as the labor legal expert of the HR Local team. To have under own control all the data and documents related to labor relations issues (e.g. unions, outsorced companies, pre-retirement analysis, professional groups matrix data, etc.)HR Admin: payroll and admin expertKey AccountabilitiesHR Business Partner, his/her main tasks are:• To participate in the strategic meetings of the client groups to be aware of HR and talent needs.• To provide expert advice, coaching and guidance to line management on HR topics. • To provide expert HR service, tools and resources to the assigned client groups.• To provide guidance and coaching to management and employees on HR topics in line with the HR agenda and calendar.• To provide expert input on the future organizational structure (charts, functions, capabilities).• To provide expert input on the current organization structure (Job Descriptions, Professional Groups…)• To facilitate expert advice related to:Talent management: coordinate talent activities such as talent identification, action plans management, succession planning, etc. Performance management: coordinate all the steps of the performance management process ensuring strategic supportTalent acquisition: To lead the talent acquisition and onboarding process for new comers to ensure the best talent in the given groups. Being actively involved in the talent acquisition process for client groups and assisting with establishing partnerships and recruitment efforts with suitable sources of recruitment. Learning & Development: To lead the processes to identify learning & development needs and implement training programs to ensure the capabilities required. Compensation & Benefits: doing offer letters based on internal & external equity; do internal & external equity studies. • To be available for employees’ requests o the policies, programs, tools, or benefits…. • To work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.• To provide the management with HR policy guidance and interpretation when it will be required.• To be aware and up to date regarding HR trends and propose new initiatives.• To define metrics for the programs implemented, to monitor them and propone improvements based on this.• To provide the client groups with data about demographics, gender, compensation, etc.• To be up to date on the labor relations rules and regulations of the given countries, sites and union bargain agreements. • To lead and take care of all the services related to the global mobility of employees coming to his/her site (impats) or the employees relocating to other sites of the group (expats) in line with the Global Mobility Policies and the rules and regulations.• To implement in his / her site the HR programs in the Global HR calendar. • To guide compensation & benefits company policy and its aplication • To provide support to its internal clients in reference to salary requirements, analysis of internal and external equity.• To provide support related specific situations that require labor advice for its resolution.• Monitor up to date the data of employee’s time control system data and propone improvements. • Coordination of HR training grants and subventions (e.g. Fundae, …).• Global mobility process managementNetworking/Key relationships• The HRBP works closely with all members of the HR team on the site.• The HRBP will interface regularly basis with assigned client groups.• The HRBP will interface with the functions across the organization as needed. • The HRBP participates and assists in projects led by Global HR Team.Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:Education:• Bachelor’s degree in, Law, Labor Relationships, Echonomy or similar. • Degree may be substituted by relevant skills and work experience.• Master, postgraduation or MBA in Human Resources (desired).Experience:• 5-7 years in similar position as a HR Business Partner.• Experience in labor relations, compensation and benefits, payroll.• Experience as HR Business partner managing talent acquisition, talent management, learning & development and employee engagement.Additional Skills/Knowledge:• Software: Fluency in Office Tools,(Excel & Word), Valuable Knowledge in SAP• Language: Fluency in Spanish or Catalan.
