Located in Rocafort, Valencia, Cambridge House British International School is a private, secular school for children aged three to 18. It was the first school in Spain to obtain both the BSO (British School Overseas) distinction and the NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain) accreditation, seals that guarantee the educational excellence of this school founded in 1986. Approved by the Ministry of Education of the Valencian Community, is currently considered one of the best schools in Spain. Since 2021, Cambridge House is a proud member of Globeducate, one of the most prestigious groups of international schools in the world, with a clear mission: to prepare each student to become a global citizen capable of shapping the world.We are looking for a HR Generalist to join in as soon as possible, with a permanent contract.POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for the comprehensive administration of the school's personnel, including payroll management, variable monitoring, absence control, and management of personnel registration and terminations. You will act as the main point of contact for Human Resources for all school staff, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Personnel Administration:Maintain and update employee records.Manage employment contracts, renewals and terminations.Manage personnel files and documentation, guaranteeing their confidentiality and security.2. Payroll Tracking:Preparation and monitoring of monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Calculation and control of overtime, bonuses, deductions and other variable payments.Coordinate with the Human Resources and Management department to resolve any payroll discrepancies.3. Absence Management:Record and monitor staff absences, including medical leaves, vacations and special permits.Ensure compliance with absence policies and coordinate necessary coverage during extended absences.4. Personnel Additions and Deregistrations:Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including induction and orientation.Manage personnel discharges, ensuring the correct completion of benefits and necessary documentation.5. Personnel Budgetary Control:Monitor and manage the personnel budget, ensuring the optimization and efficient use of assigned financial resources.Collaborate with the Human Resources and Administration department to develop and monitor the annual personnel budget.6. HR Contact Point:Act as a liaison between employees and school administration on matters related to Human Resources.Resolve staff queries and issues related to payroll, benefits, and company policies.Facilitate effective communication between staff and management, promoting a positive work environment.7. Legal and Regulatory Compliance:Ensure that all Human Resources practices comply with current labor legislation.Stay up to date on changes in legislation and regulations that affect personnel management.REQUIREMENTS:Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the education sector.Solid knowledge of labor law and payroll procedures.Advanced level of English (C1/C2).Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Proficient in payroll management software and Microsoft Office tools.COMPETENCES:Detail orientation: Precision in data management and documentation.Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.Empathy and interpersonal relationships: Ability to manage work relationships in an empathetic and professional manner.WHAT WE OFFER:Permanent contract.Full time with hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Food included in the school cafeteria every day.A collaborative work environment aimed at professional development.Opportunities for continuous training and growth within the organization.At Globeducate we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
