What do we expect from you? In the role of a HSE Technician, your focus will be centered around the active implementation and monitoring of established guidelines, programs and practices for the Safety, Hygiene and Environment aspects of CEPSA Trading.
You will be guaranteeing compliance; with a view to reducing, controlling, and minimizing risks.
This position will have to work closely with different departments of CEPSA Trading and with Corporate HSE to investigate, interpret and implement applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
Role Responsibilities.
You will implement innovation programs, best practices, training, and foster a culture of excellence in safety and environment within CEPSA Trading based on our Corporate Strategy.
You will disclose, implement, and promote compliance with CEPSA Trading's safety and environmental policies, objectives, and standards.
You will monitor compliance with the risk management system related to safety and environment of CEPSA Trading, actively participating in the preparation of the Company's risk map.
You will participate in the investigation of safety and environmental events within CEPSA Trading and monitor the actions derived from them.
You will provide support in the implementation and execution of CEPSA Trading's Emergency Response procedure in accordance with the CEPSA Crisis Communication Manual.
You will follow up on Safety and Environmental aspects related to CEPSA Trading's maritime and cargo storage operations.
You will contribute to the design and monitoring of change management and risk management systems at CEPSA Trading.
You will consolidate, control, and analyze CEPSA Trading's Safety and Environment KPIs.
What are we looking for? Higher degree in Engineering or in Nautical and Maritime Transport, with proven experience in Safety and Environment within the energy industry.
Experience of at least 2 years as a safety and environmental technician in the oil terminal area or in energy industry facilities.
Demonstrable practical knowledge of safety and/or environmental management standards.
Experience in developing and conducting environmental and process safety training programs for employees.
Ability to address multiple priorities, self-starter who works well with minimal supervision.
High ability to manage time, make quality decisions, leadership skills.
