Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions related to hotel operations.
Your primary role will involve auditing daily revenue streams, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports for management review.
The Income Auditor plays a crucial part in maintaining financial controls, compliance with policies, and supporting operational departments in maximizing revenue opportunities.
erify and reconcile daily transactions from all revenue-generating departments, including rooms, food and beverage, banquet, and spa.
udit cash, credit card, and other payment transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
eview room charges, adjustments, and discounts for accuracy and proper authorization.
repare daily revenue reports detailing income, expenses, and variances.
ompile weekly and monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
ssist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
econcile guest ledger accounts and accounts receivable balances.
nvestigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.
nsure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
mplement and maintain effective internal controls over financial transactions.
ssist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
iaise with operational departments to address financial discrepancies and improve revenue reporting processes.
rovide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
ualificationsWhat we are looking for...
achelors degree in hospitality, business administration or related field.+2 years of experience in a hotels accounting department.
nowledge of financial auditing techniques and procedures.
dvanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting softwareAbility to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
