This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with an IT background to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity governance, with a focus on KPIs, tracking findings, and ensuring compliance with application security requirements. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their understanding of cybersecurity while contributing to meaningful projects within our governance structure.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for cybersecurity governance.Follow up on security audit findings and ensure timely remediation actions are implemented.Work closely with european teams to ensure adherence to application security requirements.Support the documentation and communication of governance processes and security policies.Participate in regular reviews and updates of security controls and standards.Provide assistance to the ISO in compliance monitoring, risk management, and reporting efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and recommend improvements.Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity trends and best practices to contribute to the ongoing improvement of security governance.Qualifications Key Skills & Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong interest in cybersecurity governance and compliance.IT background with foundational knowledge of systems, networks, and applications.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through on tasks.Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable Qualifications:Basic knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).Familiarity with application security best practices.Previous exposure to cybersecurity tools or concepts is a plus.What We Offer:Hands-on experience in cybersecurity proyects across European countries.Mentorship from industry professionals and opportunities to develop your career in cybersecurity.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Flexible working hours and potential remote work options.LANGUAGESFluent English for business is mandatory and another European language is desired.Conditions of the internship:12-month internship with the possibility of semi-attendance, important: to live in Madrid35 hours per week (important to be available for morning and afternoon hours from 8:00 to 16:00 during the 12 months)Flexible starting timeAgreement and training provided by the company or agreement with current university30 working days of holidaysWE ARE WAITING TO SEE YOUR PROFILE!Thank you!
