Job Title:Senior Sales Executive international mutual funds industry – Spain (Mutual Fund Expertise asset management industry).Location:Madrid.Summary:Join SELINCA SGIIC, S.A., a leading independent asset management firm with a proven track record of success in the mutual fund distribution business. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Executive – Iberia with a proven track record of success as a senior sales professional, country head of asset manager, and a demonstrated ability to drive individual and company objectives to join our growing team of sales experts. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market reach in Spain and Portugal by spearheading strategic sales initiatives, building strong relationships with key clients, and specializing in the mutual fund asset management sector. Your expertise, leadership, and proven ability to achieve success will be instrumental in propelling our team to new heights of accomplishment.Responsibilities:Drive revenue growth: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and exceed expectations, specifically focused on mutual fund distribution.Conduct market research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential growth opportunities in the Spanish and Portuguese markets for mutual fund products.Formulate targeted sales strategies: Formulate targeted sales strategies tailored to the specific needs and preferences of our institutional investors, IFAs, and other key clients in the mutual fund space.Develop and execute sales plans: Develop and execute effective sales plans that align with the overall business objectives for mutual fund distribution.Track and monitor sales performance: Track and monitor sales performance regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed, specifically for mutual fund products.Build and maintain strong client relationships: Build and nurture deep relationships with institutional investors, IFAs, and other professionals in the mutual fund industry.Understand client needs: Understand the unique needs and requirements of each client tailored for mutual fund products, ensuring a personalized approach.Provide exceptional customer service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients feel valued and supported, particularly when dealing with mutual fund products.Identify new business opportunities: Proactively prospect for new clients through networking, attending industry events, and utilizing online platforms, specifically focused on mutual fund products.Present our firm's products: Effectively present our firm's mutual fund products and services to potential clients, highlighting their value proposition.Close deals: Close deals and secure new business opportunities, ensuring that our clients are satisfied with our mutual fund offerings.Negotiate and close complex sales: Possess expert negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for our firm and our clients for mutual fund products.Understand financial regulations: Understand the intricacies of financial transactions and regulatory requirements related to mutual funds.Communicate with clients: Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the sales process for mutual fund products, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.Provide sales support: Provide comprehensive sales support to the Sales team by sharing market insights, competitor analysis, and product knowledge.Develop training programs: Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for the Sales team, particularly for mutual fund products.Mentor and coach: Mentor and coach junior sales professionals, providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills in the mutual fund domain.Contribute to marketing campaigns: Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to generate leads and attract new clients for mutual fund products.Analyze marketing campaigns: Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns for mutual fund products and make recommendations for improvement.Manage customer databases: Ensure that customer databases are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to Sales team members, specifically for mutual fund clients.Update customer information: Update customer information promptly to reflect changes and preferences in the mutual fund arena.Identify cross-selling opportunities: Utilize customer data to identify potential cross-selling and upselling opportunities for mutual fund products.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in sales and/or business development in the asset management financial services industry.Proven track record of success in exceeding sales targets, covering all the institutional market clients.CFA, EFPA, IEP, or similar certifications are compulsory.Proficient in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.Fluent in French, considered a plus.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience in a financial services or brokerage environment, particularly in wealth management or institutional sales.Knowledge of investment products, market trends, and regulatory requirements for the liquid and for the illiquid products.Compensation:We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary commensurate with experience and a generous bonus structure that aligns with your performance.
