Are you a motivated young professional who wants to start a sales career or already has some experience in business development? Sustainability is important to you, and you would like to take a big step toward an energy-efficient future. If you are also interested in the latest technologies, then become an International Business Development Representative (all genders) with us at LEDCity.
We are LEDCity, a cleantech scale-up founded in Zurich, Switzerland, with the goal of reducing energy consumption in the lighting sector worldwide by 80%. To achieve this, we are developing a globally deployable lighting system that uses sensors to control lighting according to demand.
Tasks
Main tasks

Increase customer base in Switzerland, Germany and Spain supporting the country’s sales teams.
Acquisition of prospects through calls, emails, and other outreach.
Prospecting, building, and managing own pipeline on a long-term basis.
Close Collaboration with our Account Executives to target the right leads.
Refinement of existing acquisition strategies and material and giving it your twist.

Side tasks

Attending events with target clients.
Support our Account Executives in the execution of bigger projects.

Requirements
Must Have's

You possess a start-up mentality and the necessary portion of flexibility.
You are confident in communicating through phone, email, and in person with potential clients and existing customers.
You have a strong interest in distributing a sustainable solution to create more sustainable buildings.
You have previous International Business Development work experience.
You have excellent written and oral Spanish, French, (Ideally Swiss) German skills and a good command of English.
You possess the ability to work independently and in a structured way as well as the desire to take responsibility for projects as you are working remotely.
You have Spanish residence.

Nice to Have's

You have previous sales work experience – ideally in a real estate or technical company or in a start-up.
You are familiar with Salesforce.
