Join BIG BCN as an IT Support Assistant!

At BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), our Barcelona office is expanding, and we're looking for a Junior IT Support Assistant to help keep our day-to-day IT operations running smoothly. If you have some experience in IT support (or a strong willingness to learn) and a passion for problem-solving, this is a great opportunity to grow in a dynamic and creative environment.

You'll report to the local IT Coordinator at the BIG Barcelona office and work closely with a global IT team based in Copenhagen, London, and New York, supporting colleagues in Barcelona and beyond while gaining hands-on experience with various IT tools and systems. This role is perfect for someone with a service-oriented mindset, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges.





What You'll Do

IT Support: Assist with basic IT troubleshooting for staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Technical Assistance: Help diagnose and resolve issues with Microsoft Office 365, printers, phones, and other software.
User & Equipment Setup: Support the setup of computers, user accounts, and IT equipment for new employees.
Incident Logging: Record and track IT issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members when needed.
Basic Network Support: Assist with maintaining network connections and troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues.
Vendor Coordination: Help communicate with local IT service providers when necessary.
Learning & Growth: Gain experience working with various IT systems and best practices in a professional setting.





About You



We're looking for someone who:



✔ Has some experience in IT support or a relevant educational background.

✔ Is comfortable with basic troubleshooting of computers, software, and networks.

✔ Learns quickly and is eager to expand their technical skills.

✔ Communicates effectively in Spanish and English (written and verbal).

✔ Is organized, proactive, and enjoys problem-solving.

✔ Works well both independently and as part of a team.
