JAVA DEVELOPER (JR./MID/SR.) - HYBRID - SAAS

You will focus on our in-house integration layer (built in Java 8) used for external communications and system integrations, while also contributing to server-side and UI development. The ideal candidate will have experience with integration protocols, Java technologies, Jboss, and be able to troubleshoot issues while working on end-to-end project delivery in an international, cross-functional team.About The Role Integration DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain our Java 8-based in-house integration layer used for external communication via HTTP, HTTPS, AS2, and FTP.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring smooth communication and data exchange.Read and interpret XML messages and handle integration protocols effectively.Project DevelopmentWork end-to-end on project phases, from business analysis, technical analysis, and development to release, testing, and bug fixing.Develop both server-side and user interface aspects of the application.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate and define technical solutions.Software Quality and MaintenanceDrive software quality through unit, functional, and performance testing.Maintain and continuously improve current solutions to deliver value in an Agile environment.Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices for performance and scalability.Support junior developers, providing guidance on day-to-day tasks.WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU (adapted to each level of seniority)Hard SkillsJava 8 development expertise with good experience in Spring, JPA, SQL, and JMS.Hands-on experience with integration protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, AS2, FTP.Strong knowledge of MySQL, REST services, XML (XSLT, XSD), and Oracle Cloud services.Experience with JBoss for application server configuration and management.Experience with Jenkins and Maven (Nice to have).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Soft SkillsAbility to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders, adapting it based on the audience.
