# LifeStyles is currently looking for new talents #”Job DescriptionPosition: Junior AccountantPosition Reports to: Senior Accountant Location: Madrid, Spain (Alcorcon Plant)Region: EMEAPosition Overview:As Junior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that all transactions are correctly reflected in the books in a timely manner in compliance with the established standards and criteria for both Local GAAP and Lifestyles group. We expect you to possess both analytical skills and an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles to efficiently understand the transactions and determine their correct accounting treatment. Key Responsibilities (not limited to):Financial accounting / bookkeeping: Prepare accounting entries, including cash and banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and general ledger, in accordance with Spanish GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and US GAAP for group reporting, as well as other transactional activities. Knowledge of Italian GAAP is a plus.Tax and statutory Compliance: Upload invoice data to SII on a regular basis and check the correctness of the VAT records. Coordinate with Human Resources for the preparation of the tax withholding forms. Knowledge of Spain taxes is required, knowledge of plastic tax will be considered as a plus.Cash Management: Prepare the supplier payment proposals and allocate the payments correctly in the ERP system (D365), as well as the collections from customers. Prepare the bulk and individual transfers for signature. Audit and Compliance: Assist the Senior Accountant in external and internal audits. Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and internal control procedures.Assist in monthly closing activities and prepare the closing entries for review by the Senior Accountant. Execute the assigned closing tasks within the established deadlines. Support with accounting tasks for other EMEA entities in Belgium and Italy as needed.Skills Required:Preferable Accounting, Economics or Business Administration degree.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in multinational companies.Fluent in English and Spanish (written & conversational).Ability to work in an autonomous way.Communication, influence and interpersonal skills including the ability to set up solid cross-functional partnerships.You respect tight deadlines, and you are flexible in order to respect them.You take initiative to improve things and you have a strong hands-on mentality.Team player and strong collaborator with the local and regional team.You have previous experience with ERP systems (experience in MS Dynamics 365 is a plus)Associated Behaviors and AttitudesCuriosity Agility Entrepreneurial Spirit Being results – oriented.
