It constitutes a clinical research ecosystem that aims to advance personalized and precision medicine worldwide.Junior Accountant at SavanaMajor Accountabilities where this role is involved: Manage invoicing processes and revenue tracking. Handle the collection, reporting, follow-up, and recovery of outstanding payments. Ensure payments are processed efficiently and in compliance with established procedures. Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards, ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate. Manage accruals, amortisation, and depreciation records, ensuring correct allocation during monthly closings. Provide support during the financial audit process, ensuring that records and documentation are complete and accurate. Oversee accounts payable functions, including approval management, journal entries, and controls. Manage employee expense approvals, journal entries, and control procedures. Assist in the preparation of grant management applications and necessary documentation. Maintain and update supplier files and related documents. Work closely with the finance team in the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Operate according to Security Policies, Procedures and Manuals.Report any suspect of incident or improvement proposals.Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:Vocational training or higher education in Administration and Finance (Middle or Higher Degree). Proven experience in accounting, particularly in invoicing, reconciliations, accounts payable, and tax reporting. Advanced knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of VAT regulations and practices. Practical experience with accounting software (preferably Netsuite). Professional level of English. Ability to work in a multinational, multidisciplinary, multicultural, and fast-growing environment. Autonomy, creativity, strong analytical skills, and ability to organise work efficiently. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams towards a shared goal. Patient, flexible attitude, with the ability to perform under pressure.
