**Job Description** AECOM Buildings + Places is actively seeking a collaborative and talented Junior Architect to support the exceptional Architecture & Design team based in Madrid.
As a **Junior Architect**, you will become part of a creative and collaborative team, with multidisciplinary projects delivered across several geographies, with the potential to grow and thrive.
Delivering diverse projects will provide you the opportunity to learn from senior professionals, working on different fields of expertise and acquiring general knowledge of the design and construction process, among others.
Also, you will get an overview of the complete project life cycle, from early proposal stages, throughout the project planning, set up and execution, up to project closure.
Under the direct supervision of an Architect or Project Lead, you will collaborate with the team with the following tasks.
+ Assist with creating and developing designs, functional layouts, diagrams, and presentation materials based on complex programming requirements.
+ Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team (engineering, urban design, and others) to support the design and construction of a variety of international and national projects.
+ Developing from concept design to construction documents.
+ Assist the Senior team members with other tasks including updating logs and checklists.
**Qualifications** TO BE CONSIDERED, ALL CANDIDATES MUST SUBMIT A PORTFOLIO WITH THEIR CV/RESUME + Architecture Master\us Degree.
+ Some previous experience as an architect with focus on design development.
+ Proficiency in BIM environment and Autodesk Revit + Proven experience with other design software (Autocad, Photoshop, Rhinoceros,\u).
+ Fluency in English and Spanish languages (verbal and written).
German will be a plus.
+ Well organized with the ability to manage time in a fast-paced work environment + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Highly motivated with the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.
+ Proactive and detail oriented + Creative and collaborative with a passion for designing and detailing.
